4 ingredients, delicious and packed with nutrients - what's not to love!
Ingredients – Makes about 400g
250g raw hazelnuts
4 tbsp raw cacao powder
5 tbsp maple syrup
4 – 5 tbsp unsweetened almond or hazelnut milk.
Bake the hazelnuts in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 8 – 10 minutes, until lightly golden brown. Be careful to not burn them, so check on them often. Remove and allow to cool Once cool, whizz the hazelnuts in a food processor for 10 minutes, until they are completely broken down.
Add the maple syrup and cacao and blend for a further 2 minutes. Make sure these ingredients are completely mixed together and with the food processor still on, gradually pouring in the milk. You may not need need all the milk – add up to 5 tbsp until you reach your desired consistency.
Blend until lovely and smooth, and enjoy!
Keep in an airtight container or a glass jar in the fridge and use within 7–10 days
