Rose Glover BSc Hons MBANT CNHC

I am a fully qualified nutritional therapist. Before studying nutrition, I trained and worked as an actress in London, New York and Los Angeles. I lived in NYC for 3 years before moving to the beautiful East Coast. It was whilst living in L.A that I became truly excited and inspired about health and well-being, as although I was living my dream (there’s nothing quite like the Californian sun!), I had my own niggling health concerns which I was ignoring, and was hoping would just ‘go away’.

I started to read up on every nutrition book I could get my hands on and eventually (after a hell of a lot of trial and error, a little bit of kicking and screaming and a lot of falling on and off the ‘healthy bandwagon’) I started to give my body exactly what it needed to thrive and to feel amazing.

I understand that feeling tired, bloated, unbalanced hormones, having skin breakouts, immune issues and feeling generally lacklustre can stunt your potential in all areas of your life, because I’ve been there!

Once I was back on home turf in the UK, I was so excited and inspired about specialised nutrition, that I decided to throw the towel in on my acting career and go back to university to study nutritional therapy at degree level.

My vision was to set up a nutritional consultancy which guides, encourages and supports women in their own journeys towards health. I want women to feel great about themselves - I want them to discover what a magnificent difference nutrition and lifestyle can make to their lives.

I’m truly excited about empowering you to take care of yourself by making informed, delicious and nutritious food choices that will get you glowing from the inside out!

Qualifications:

I studied nutritional sciences at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London before completing a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Nutritional Therapy at the reputable University of Westminster.

I am also a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), and I’m registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CHHC).

Special interests:

I have a special interest in female health issues (menopausal symptoms, pregnancy, infertility, cervical dysplasia, PMS, endometriosis, PCOS, painful and irregular menstruation etc.), and other hormonal concerns such as hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue.

I also have a special interest in digestive issues (IBS, bloating, constipation etc.) and those who are seeking nutritional guidance for a much wider range of health concerns (stress, anxiety, fatigue, mood, skin issues, weak immune system, fitness nutrition etc.) I am also passionate about ensuring those on special diets (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc.) are getting adequate nutrition for optimum health.
