Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

1 good drizzle of olive oil

1 tsp ground cumin

1 good pinch salt

1 good pinch pepper

1 good pinch of chilli



 

Method:

Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees Celsius

Place the chickpeas on a metal baking tray (metal helps to make them crispier, but you can use a ceramic baking try too)

Pat dry the rinsed chickpeas with a paper towel to remove excess water (helps to crisp them up!)

Drizzle on a good glug of olive oil

Sprinkle on the seasonings and mix well, then spread out on the tray making an even layer

Roast in the oven for 10 – 15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
